Aluminum 2B12 Performance

The main features and applications:

 

Alloy rivets. 2A02 shear strength and considerable, other properties and 2B11 similar, but rivets must be riveted within 20min after quenching, it is difficult to process, and thus the application range is limited.

 

Mechanical properties:

 

Shear strength τ (MPa): ≥265

 

Note: After the wire solution heat treatment to natural aging state shear stable performance

 

Sample size: All wire diameter

 

Heat treatment:

 

1) Complete annealing: heating 390 ~ 430 ℃; with the effective thickness of different materials, holding time 30 ~ 120min; with 30 ~ 50 ℃ / h speed with furnace cooling to below 300 ℃, and then cooled.

 

2) Rapid thermal annealing: heating 350 ~ 370 ℃; with the effective thickness of different materials, holding time 30 ~ 120min; air cooling.

 

3) Quenching and aging: hardening 490 ~ 500 ℃, water cooled; natural aging at room temperature for 96h.
